A good college for the amount of state funding they get. With courses such as Automotive and Diesel Technologies, Agricultural and Business Studies, Heavy Equipment Operations and Welding Sciences. some of the trades courses are in jeopardy of being cancelled because of budget cuts, which is unfortunate. All of the courses that are being taught Shasta College are dated and extremely underfunded. The campus its self is showing signs of wear. They are one of the best compared to other north state campuses. The Tehama Campus, and downtown campuses are new and wonderful.
