Our experience was that this was a 'more- well-kept' vintage motel; clean and comfy, with air conditioning and a cute little pool. We had a lovely breakfast at the "Sugar Shack Cafe." I would go here again. :)

One of the skankiest, rundown motel rooms I've ever stayed in. I payed for a room, received the keys and then found it was very close to Main St, one of the busiest streets in Red Bluff. There were only 6 cars parked in the hotels lot, so I figured there were other rooms available. I went back to the office to ask if I could have another room, because I'm a light sleeper. The manager told me there is "no traffic on this street... it doesn't start until 9am". Cars were whizzing by at midnight when I got there. I asked again if I could have another room further from the street. He said that the place was full. I asked if the other guests had walked there since there were very few cars in the lot. He said "they are contractors without cars"?. I was too exhausted to ask for my money back and look for another place so here I sit wondering why they stuffed cardboard boxes into an old non functional wall heater instead of removing it. The carpet is filthy, the shower is moldy and the entry door looks like it's made of worn cardboard.
Ceiling fan did not work. Toilet liked two tries to get the job done. No handle on shower door. Old building; room smells like it. Affordable price; polite staff.
Small family run motorlodge old school vibe, funky rooms with wonderfully unique closets and tucked away office space (probably used to be little kitchenettes) that's I used for making electronic music
It was surprisingly a nice overnight stay. The room was nice and roomy with a homey feel to it. Nice place to spend a quick night and get back on the road.
